Water Lines

Returning to Maine every summer, to the ocean and the landscape of my growing up has inspired the latest body of work. The excitement for me is the line where land meets water. My studio sits on that line, in a tidal cove that changes twice a day from a full basin of water to glistening clam flats. I am intrigued by the changes, due to wind, temperature, humidity, time of day, and how all these affect what happens above and below that line.
